What I liked

The best thing about this internship was to get my foot in the door with a big league business like the Rangers. I wanted to see how a business operated from the ground up. I was able to get in touch with the controller, and she informed me about a staff accountant internship in the summer of 2020 and offered me the internship for when I get out of school.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have shadowed a staff accountant for a day and see what their daily routines were.

Advice

My advice would be get to know everyone. Help in any way you can, even if it is not your department. That was the best thing for me and helped me build relationships and broaden my network throughout the company.
