They're really good at getting the interns involved in actual projects. I was able to build out a major feature and see it demoed to customers. This was a lot more fulfilling than a typical intern project, and the full time devs were always really helpful throughout the entire process.
What I wish was different
I joined right as the company got series b funding, so it was a bit hectic for a while, but the chaos is becoming more controlled.
Advice
This is NOT an internship where you can just slack off! Expect to learn a lot and to get things done, but also don't be afraid to ask the developers for help. Everyone I've met has been super friendly so far.

Start looking for internships early, and pay attention to the technologies that companies use.
