Getting to talk to people from all walks of life including employees and customers. Practicing fun coffee making skills and experiment with new drinks. Waking up early and starting people's days with a smile and a yummy cup of coffee.
What I wish was different
The organization of the shop. We had new management so things were still working out into a smooth groove with new employees.
Advice
Have fun with it! Try not to complain about the little annoying things, just let them roll off your shoulders. There is so much to enjoy about the job but it is easy to get distracted by small inconveniences and not so nice people.
