My manager was extremely detail-oriented and was a perfect role model for this job! I learned a ton in terms of the events industry, making proposals, making contracts, contacting and negotiating with vendors, among other things. Even as a Tourism Major student, I still learned a plethora of applicable and soft skills for industries outside of event management.”
