SBP shrinks the time between disaster and recovery by providing recovery services are through eight states across the US South where the vulnerability to major natural disasters is greatest. SBP also provides training, consulting, and organizational capacity through a permanent team of subject matter experts and Resilience Fellows who are placed within local governments for two-year terms.
