About Southern Hills Country Club

Southern Hills Country Club is a prestigious, member-owned private golf and country club with a storied golf history and worldwide acclaim. Our culinary program is led by Certified Master Chef (CMC) Jonathan Moosmiller. Chef Moosmiller is Oklahoma’s only CMC and one of only 68 in the entire country.

The Clubhouse spans over 72,000 square feet in total. The Club has seven dining areas in total, both indoor and outdoor (seasonally), formal and informal. Four Clubhouse dining rooms have undergone dramatic renovations in the past 18 months. Banquet rooms include a 7,000 square foot Ballroom, a Wine Room and a Reception Area.

We have hosted a total of seven major championships for men, including the U.S. Open three times (1958, 1977, 2001) and four PGA Championships (1970, 1982, 1994, 2007). Ours is the first course to host the PGA Championship four times. We have also hosted several other prestigious tournaments. Southern Hills also has the rare honor of being the inaugural host of a USGA championship, hosting the first-ever U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur in 1987 and the USGA Women’s Amateur was played at Southern Hills in 1946.
