We had a lot of interactive workshops, training, and guest speakers. I enjoyed attending weekly company calls. Everyone I worked with and was mentored by was always very helpful and I felt like I could reach out to them with any questions. I liked how our day was scheduled- usually 9-5 sometimes 9-6, with half days on Fridays.
What I wish was different
I wish the role was in person at the Charlotte office. Unfortunately, it was a remote position due to COVID restrictions.
Advice
Use your free time to find new clients and maintain contact with previous candidates.

What I liked
Great work environment. Everyone is there to help you succeed and work with you to get better. This job is all about making professional relationships with your team and clients/consultants. It was a great way to learn how to conduct business phone calls and definitely expanded my sales abilities.
What I wish was different
My internship was only offered online due to COVID. I wish i would have had the chance to meet and work with my colleagues in person.
Advice
You will be told "No" a lot and you can not let it discourage you. Let it motivate you to get the next position you are working on filled.

What I liked
The opportunity to start in a new field with a great training program. That having my past internships really contributed to finding and thriving in my current job.
What I wish was different
I wish I had taken my internships more seriously and treated them like I was looking for my dream job.
Advice
Think about what you want to do and take time to find a company you would like to internship with. Also consider what your industry is and what you do in it because that will translate over to your actual job hunt post graduation.

What I wish was different
Work hours were way too much. Often arriving at 730 am and wouldn't leave until sometimes after 6 pm.
High stress environment always pressure to meet numbers.
Advice
Don't expect it to be easy. It does get easier but there will always be stress to meet your numbers. There is a great support system as long as you ask questions. Lots of turn over with employees
