Front-End Engineer Intern

What I liked

I enjoy the freedom that SearchOwl offers to its interns. I am primarily focusing on my interest of working on front-end web development, but I also have the option to gain experience and learn in back-end development.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more strictness in documentation on the programming side of things; sometimes, locating new code or debugging is difficult when other people worked on that snippet of code and going back is difficult.

Advice

Don't be afraid to try new things and fail. There were many times where I tried implementing new designs to pages to increase interactivity, accessibility, and overall user-experience, but they did not turn out as planned. That's where you have to accept your failures, be creative, and try something new!
