“I was able to work on a bunch of projects during my time with Regal Rexnord. My boss gave me projects that challenged me in many different areas. I really like how much I felt valued here. The projects I had were important to the company and the mechanical engineering team. I had the opportunity to be one of the first people at the company to run a harmonic analysis on one of our motors. That project was a ton of fun because I was able to do it on my own without having anyone that knew exactly what to do. Overall, the environment, people, and projects I had were all great and created a great experience for me. ”

“What I liked about this experience is the amount of information I was able to learn in a few months. I was able to work as a design engineer to create and modify parts for electric motors and fans. This opportunity allowed me to acquire technical skills that are important in the field of engineering. These skills include improvement in Solidworks, FEA & CFD Analysis using Ansys software, dimensioning & tolerances, understanding BOMs, and using PDM tools. I was also able to get hands-on experience in the laboratory using wind tunnels and dynamometers on the 3D printed prototypes I would make and I was able to do data analysis based on the results of the tests. All of my coworkers were very supportive and I asked as many questions as I could. ”
