What I liked

I loved the community, with a great relationship between managers and crew members. Great work ethic present, trying to reach the bet quality possible. I'm glad I was able to work for such a well known company and be able to say I enjoyed it and would recommend working for Raising Canes.

What I wish was different

I wish I was earning more money per hour.

Advice

Do not be afraid to apply for an entry level position. You have to come to the realization you have to start somewhere. Regardless if you like the experience or not, you will learn something, wither positive or negative. You never know if you will like it and want to advance there or learned that this was not for you.

February - August 2019 • Aliso Viejo, CA

What I liked

I personally loved the team atmosphere fostered by our management staff. Each crew member did the best they could in their assigned positions and would never give up. The determination and desire to serve the “best box” is something that was truly inspiring and made working at canes a valuable experience.

What I wish was different

I wish we had more crew meme era in order to offer the best service to each customer and really focus more on customer outreach.

Advice

I would say, it’s important to just do the best you can! If you encounter something new and challenging, just relax because you’ll most definitely improve over time.

What I liked

I loved the friendly work environment. I met most of my best friends at Canes, so a lot of the time, going to work meant being able to see and hang out with my favorite people. The people are really the best part of Canes.

What I wish was different

The managers really started to fall off the edge towards the edge. It's hard to care about such a mundane job if it's clear that the managers don't care either.

Advice

Overall, Canes is not the best place to work, but I learned a lot about working hard, multitasking, being efficient, and balancing having a job with schoolwork. Even if one of your first jobs isn't the best or most fun, try and learn from it and figure out what you really want in a future long term job!

What I liked

I liked the team-oriented atmosphere, as well as the managers and the general attitude presented by all the workers. I really felt like I was cared about at this job, and I cared very much for the well-being of other crew members. This encouraged cooperation, and motivated me to work harder.

What I wish was different

I wish the pay had been weekly instead of bi-weekly, and that there were more opportunities to be cross trained to do different jobs in the company.

Advice

Networking is key in any work environment, but it has to be genuine. Genuine networking can build relationships that last a lifetime and can empower you to turn a good job into a great job.
