Student behavior analyst

What I liked

They have a vast network of clients, largest than any other ABA company. They strictly do in home and schools. No clinics, so it allows a flexible schedule. They have an amazing mentorship program that many go to FIT, so it is a cohesive work environment. They pay very well.

What I wish was different

There is no PTO, sick time is not great. You still need a second job if you don't have a reliable schedule which is a big problem in the industry. Also, if one region has poor leadership, it affects the outlook on the company as a whole and there is nothing you can do.

Advice

If you are an experienced RBT, do it. If you are planning to be a BCBA, highly recommend doing it. I would not wish in-home on any new RBT. You got to be self-sufficient and capable of asking questions to get things done. But this company is perfect if you constantly moving in the military or seeking to move up.

Registered Behavior Technician

What I liked

I was a behavior technician prior to getting hired with PBS. PBS was helpful in providing me with my 40 hour training and preparation to take the exam to become registered as a behavior technican. PBS paid for the training and I had the position secured before even taking my exam.

What I wish was different

I wish I had found out about PBS sooner in my college career. I only began working with PBS the summer of the end of my junior year but do hope to continue to work with them in the near future.

Advice

I would let applicant know that the sooner that they reach out about their interest in the position the better! If you would like a position for the summer, begin looking for open positions within the company as soon as April.
