Other programmers like myself, not to be working alone on my projects. I wish the PCC was better organized, some managers (not mine) don't seem to accept their responsibilities, things go amiss and problems are always arising there.

I loved the opporunity to meet people from literally ALL OVER THE WORLD, to take them on tour and share with them the spirit of Aloha and the Polynesian Culture.

There were a lot of changes during the summer time, and I feel like it would have been a better experience if we were given more training due to the changes.

Take the chance to be a tourguide! It’s an amazing job and a wonderul oppotunity to network.

It provides me the opportunity to grow as I serve different types of guests whenever I'm on tour. It also provides me the opportunity to learn more about Polynesian culture and constantly learn something new every day about the culture.
What I wish was different
I wish more time was given for new hires that come in during summer time. That way, the new hires would feel more prepared and had more time to prepare themselves for different types of test and evaluation that they do for every new hire.
Advice
Some jobs can be quite challenging. In my case, it was tough in the beginning but it's really worth it at the end of the day. Strive to look for ways to grow .

Working at the luau is fun and time goes by quickly because of the show. I suggest that anyone who wants to work for the luau should be physically strong.

I love the opportunity of interacting with 700-800+ people a day. Being able to wow them and their moments in PCC is such a great feeling.

Everything in there was great and I just wish that summer was a little longer.
Advice
I would say that this is a great place to work if you are the hard working type. This place stretch you to see your strengths and weaknesses. It is just a wonderful area.
