What I liked

Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. It was great to be able to begin my career in a place where I feel like I will be able to learn and grow. I also really appreciate the transition this has provided from school to a career. Doing this program, I feel way more prepared that I think I would have going straight into a job. Being apart of PMG and doing the GLP has exceeded all my expectations for post-grad life!

What I wish was different

The interview process was a little intense since I wasn't aware what all went into it before applying. Just having someone to talk to during the process and explain the next steps would've been helpful.

Advice

Just go for it! This really is an amazing company and the GLP is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Graduate Leadership Program

What I liked

The Graduate Leadership (GLP) is the perfect transition from the college classroom into the digital marketing industry because you are emerged into the PMG culture and have a greater understanding of PMG's services before starting on your actual team. I built community amongst 70+ other GLPers through time with my small group to discuss and reflect on the program, training process, culture and life in a new city. From day one, you are treated as part of the PMG team as the executive leadership team plays an active role throughout the program and wants you to succeed in your career and meet you at many of the social events. It's easily one of the best experiences I've heard about transitioning from college.

What I wish was different

The interview process is long but worth it. It took a couple of months for me to complete my first application to the day I heard back about my final offer. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just don't be discouraged if the process is taking a few weeks or months to move through.

Advice

Reach out and ask questions to anyone in the company! In the GLP program, I quickly learned how friendly and willing everyone at PMG is to share what they do or about their career experience. If you reach out, they are sure to respond and be excited to talk to you. This even applied during the application process. I recommend reaching out to a former GLPer and asking about their experience before applying. It's a great way to hear first-hand about the program and culture of PMG!

What I liked

The GLP was the perfect transition from college to early career. My peers and I were given all the tools and resources to be successful post program - participating in projects, learning sessions, and certification trainings throughout the 8 weeks. I love the people I get to work with, and believe that PMG is truly set apart in the way it values humans. PMG is made up of over 500 authentic and compassionate people -- all of whom support one another. We have the best clients, the best talent, and the best values - I have absolutely loved the GLP.

Advice

Just be authentically you! Everyone here is learning and growing - ask questions and build relationships. Everyone here wants to know and support you - no matter what your need is! Don't be afraid to reach out to GLP Alumni to ask questions or advice throughout the interview process and program!

Graduate Leadership Program - Media

What I liked

Everything! As someone who wasn't really sure the exact route I wanted to go in the marketing industry, this position (and program) was a great fit for me. The Graduate Leadership Program is unlike any other opportunity I've heard of. It gives all GLPs real world training across multiple channels, providing GLPs with a holistic overview of each channel and how they work together! The culture is as good as they tell you, and the people here are second to none. From the others in my cohort, to C-level executives (and everyone in between), every single person at PMG wants to see (and help!) you succeed. I have learned more in the first 8 weeks than I did in my four years of college.

What I wish was different

The interview process can be intimidating and the program is long... but both are beyond worth it!

Advice

APPLY! REACH OUT! We were just in your shoes less than a year ago, and every single one of us would be more than willing to chat with you about our time in the program!!!

The Graduate Leadership Program has been an amazing transition from college to the real world! It's a truly unique experience having the ability to learn & develop over several weeks while getting paid salary. I have learned so much during my short time at PMG. The program is fun, engaging, and well-structured. I can't compliment it enough!

Graduate Leadership Program

What I liked

The GLP was an 8 week program and such a great learning experience before getting into our respective teams! And more than that it was such a good introduction into everything PMG does with a bunch of fun, interactive events. The one thing that really sets PMG apart from other companies has been the people here, everyone is always available to help and guide you.

What I wish was different

Honestly? It's been great. I had to make a choice between two offers and I could not be happier that I ended up choosing PMG!

Advice

#1 - If you're planning to work in digital marketing and still undecided about which channel you want to be working in whether its SEM, Social, SEO or Programmatic, this program would be the perfect fit for you because it gives you a crash course in everything and by the end of it you know where you want to be. #2- Also, the interview process is long but it's worth it so don't let that discourage you.

Graduate Leadership Program - Media Track

What I liked

The GLP has been amazing! I have learned so much in my first two months about digital media and have been exposed to many channels. My cohort and everyone that works at PMG has been incredible. The program is incredibly structured and includes many presentations from talented employees, group projects, many shadowing sessions, and hands-on learning. We have social events outside of work so you can really get to know your cohort as well. Moving to a new city and starting a job can be overwhelming at times, but going through it with 70 other GLPers has been great! Everyone at PMG has been extremely helpful and I could not have asked for a better place to start my career!

What I wish was different

I cannot think of anything! My time here has been excellent!

Advice

Apply! This program is a great way to get exposed to all aspects of digital media and there is really no other program like it.

Graduate Leadership Program

What I liked

I knew that I wanted to get a jumpstart on my career in Marketing and Advertising, but I did not know how or where to start. The GLP (Client & Media) helped me explore the industry and the agency side and truly find where I would fit. I gained insights on the different channels and how they all collaborate together for the client. The culture throughout the company is the best. From the CEO to fellow entry level peers, everyone wants you to succeed and have fun in the process. They have cultivated a culture that I used to only hear about and want to be a part of. This program is a great way to grow your skills, gain industry experience, and make lasting connections.

What I wish was different

Not a thing, I had a great experience.

Advice

This program and company is a great place to learn about the industry while also learning about yourself in the workforce. It is a GREAT transition from college to workforce without all the pressure and stress. I asked previous GLPs and employees a ton of questions about the interview process and company and they were more than happy to answer. If you have any questions about PMG or the GLP, do not be afraid to reach out!

Graduate Leadership Program

What I liked

The Graduate Leadership Program, is a great way to become integrated into your career! I really liked that we were able to continue our learning after college to become well trained and educated in digital advertising. PMG does a wonderful job of exposing you to their core values, company culture, what your daily role could potentially look like, and networking opportunities within the company. I also love the social activities they have for the GLPers to get to know each other better!

What I wish was different

Nothing, I loved everything!

APPLY! This program is so unique in that it allows you to find where you fit in within the advertising world before you start an entry level position. I have learned so much more in 2 months at PMG than most of my marketing program in my undergrad. It is genuinely such a great learning experience!

GLP Media Coordinator

What I liked

I really enjoyed the process, it was great getting to know the marketing agency with so many peers my age! I've created so many lasting relationships, connections, and have learned so much while being here, truly a great first job experience.

What I wish was different

Placement can be a little stressful. They say to keep an open mind but sometimes its hard if you fall in love with a position and it's capabilities! I think knowing first hand what's available would be beneficial in the long run, but with such an emerging and constantly changing industry this can be difficult/not possible!

Advice

Reach out to former GLPs!!!!! They are so welcoming, friendly, and eager to help! Everyone really does love the GLP, so take advantage of that, it's like a super power. And also, make friends with your new coworkers/fellow GLPers, there's no experience like this

Graduate Leadership Program

What I liked

As someone who wasn't exactly sure where I fit in the marketing industry, the GLP program (Client and Media) was the perfect opportunity to learn and get exposure to the digital marketing landscape. The culture is unmatched and everyone wants you to succeed. It was a great way to make meaningful contributions while having a great support system while you develop your marketing skills.

Advice

If you're looking to be apart of a team while working with some of the biggest and best companies then apply. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain! Also don't be afraid to reach out to GLP alumni to ask for tips throughout the interview process.
