A more relaxed training to get med certified where I was not getting in trouble for people who take the blood pressure monitor off their arm (due to how it made it even longer than expected to give them meds)
Advice
Only half the staff is cooperative enough to be considered as a caring person and mentors to relatively new trainees.

What I liked
I loved the families and kids. Working and helping others has always been a passion and this was a great opportunity to do it. I was able to schedule my hours around classes and was able to work as many hours as I could by adding new families to my schedule.
What I wish was different
I wish the summer hours had been upped so that families and caregivers would have had more time.
Advice
Keep track of all hours, texts, emails, etc. Get everything in writing. Treat each family and each child with respect and teach them how to do things to become as independent as possible. Be creative, flexible, and adaptable.
