Orientation Group Leader
May - August 2018 • Rochester, MI
What I liked
I absolutely loved working with the incoming freshman and getting them acclimated to the college life, they were so enthusiastic about learning what Oakland University is all about. The Orientation days were packed full of fun and knowledge gaining. That job has been the best part of any summer I've had!
What I wish was different
Something that could've been different is probably the structure of the day, instead of having half the students do one thing and half the other, it would be nice to have them all do it at the same time.
Advice
One thing I would say is, share your own experiences as much as you can, because it let's the incoming freshman know that there is never a dull moment at Oakland University!
