I loved the atmosphere and all of the people there. Everyone was always willing to answer my questions about stuff since ABA was something new to me. My kiddos were awesome and I loved being able to partake in implementing their treatment plans.
What I wish was different
There is not a whole lot that I wish was different! I might have wished that I got a specific workplace violence/safety training since some of the kids experience behaviors that can be harming to themselves or others and when this would take place I couldn’t step in and help.
Advice
It’s an amazing experience. If anyone loves kids and being able to help them regulate their behaviors while also improving social and cognitive skills then I say apply for this!
