Pepper

Marketing Intern and Brand Ambassador

June - August 2021 • Fort Collins, CO

What I liked

This was an experience that I could set my hours. It was very independent as I was essentially doing sales and promotional events at the safeway locations in Fort Collins. Pay was great with the potential for bonuses if I preformed above and beyond their expectations.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have had more in person training experiences, almost all of my training was online besides a short block of a professional salesmen showing me how he had done this for a short amount of time.

Advice

Keep an open mind and create great relationships with the brands you're working at. I had great reviews from the locations I worked at and helped further the two companies relationships through my time at each location this summer.

Brand Ambassador

October 2019 • Davis, CA

What I liked

This position gives me the opportunity to capitalize on my skills while also help build my leadership skills. I love how the job allows people to make more than minimum wage per hour.

What I wish was different

I wish all of our partnering merchants allowed us to advertise outside of their stores. It would sure make our jobs easier.

Advice

If you do not feel comfortable approaching random strangers than this isn't the job for you.
