What I liked

Through this internship, I learned new technology tools, worked with data on our pilot Facebook & Instagram ad campaign and learned what it takes to start a new company. Momi gave me the experience to be able to have a lot of different responsibilities and work on my own projects, as well as giving me an inside look into the world of startups. The mentorship I received was invaluable and helped me narrow down my interests for my future career path by giving me guidance and allowing me the opportunity to work on many different projects. The Momi internship went above and beyond my expectations and made me feel very valued and appreciated.

What I wish was different

The only thing that I wish had been different is that I wish I had more time with the Momi team!

Advice

Take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities given to you! The Momi team is full of incredible people, ask questions; you will be able to learn a lot from them!

What I liked

A unique product that strives to make a difference in the lives of moms and babies, a great team culture, and a wonderful opportunity to carry out impactful work in an early-stage startup that is gaining traction. I have learned so much about e-commerce, the FemTech industry, and what it takes to launch a new company and get a new product to market. I was delighted to be able to have a lot of responsibilities and own projects as an intern. I also received invaluable mentorship from everyone on the team. The MOMI internship has far exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend the internship to anyone interested in business, entrepreneurship, and healthcare!

What I wish was different

The experience was fully in-person in Charlotte, NC – it would be even better if some remote work were allowed!

Advice

Get ready to be challenged with tasks both inside and outside of your comfort zone. Go in with an open mind and ask questions, and you will be able to learn a ton from the work and the team at MOMI.
