I liked the family-like atmosphere of the work environment. Mentors throughout the summer really wanted the interns to learn and succeed! I also enjoyed the travel aspect of the internship. I was able to explore new markets across the country and see how they differ from each other.
What I wish was different
Advice
One thing I would recommend is asking questions. The mentors you are sent to have a lot of experience. Learning as much as you can from them, day in and day out, will benefit you far more than you may think.

It was close to home and I have built a network through McLane. The money and over time was great. Allowed me to take time off for college needs and family time.

A few less hours. I would put in between 50-60 hours per week.

Know how many hours you are looking for in a job and how busy you want your summer to be.

Management structure, scheduling, vacation days offered, coworker dynamic, and worker safety.
Advice
A job offer is certain. Surviving the first ninety days; unlikely.
