What I liked
I worked as a summer counselor for 2 seasons and I really loved working here. I experienced so many new things that I never thought I would experience. Additionally to that, it brought me out of my comfort zone which was very good for myself. Over the time as a counselor, I learned so many new skills that have helped me in college and eventually after I graduate. Looking after a bunk full of kids and teaching activities all day, it will give you great experience in many ways. Furthermore, the other counselors and directors were great to meet and become friends along the way. It is great meeting people from all over the world and hearing about their life in different perspectives as well. Overall, Camp North Star was a great place to work and the owners will make sure you will have a great summer under the pines!
