Automotive Engineering Intern

May - August 2017 • Wixom, MI

What I liked

It was a real life experience where I got to put what I was learning into real life situations. It was nice learning from people who have been in the industry I was studying for years as well as learning what they learned from working, outside of their formal education.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have worked in many departments instead of just one. It limited who I can learn from and work with when there were so many other employees with different jobs.

A piece of advice I have for a future intern is that sometimes your attitude is more important than how much you know. Showing that you’re eager and wanting to work and learn as much as possible will go a long way.
