REU Student Participant

“I enjoyed interacting with other physics students from schools across the country and living on a different campus for a summer. My research project was fascinating and it gave me the opportunity to visit a national lab in California. I liked the full-time research experience, as it was a good prep for graduate school, and I enjoyed learning from different professors during weekly lectures. We also presented our research every other week in 10-minute talks, so the practice was very helpful.”
