I liked how small the company was and how willing all they employees were to help each other with any tasks. As an intern there was a lot for me to learn but I always felt comfortable asking anyone for help and they would always do their best to help me in any way they could. I also liked that most of the employees are well rounded in their understanding of the company as a whole. Since the company is on the smaller side, some people perform or have understanding of several different fields which was very appealing to me.
What I wish was different
I wish that I were able to go out in the field more often and look and oversee job sites in action. Due to the coronavirus, some construction and jobs were delayed and there weren't as many opportunities for me to get on site experience as I would have hoped.
One piece of advice I would share is to not be afraid to ask for help. Everyone at this company was more than willing to help me out with any projects I was working on or any general questions I had. Also making relationships with the people who work at this company is super easy and making connections is always beneficial.
