Historic Hotel Bethlehem

About Historic Hotel Bethlehem

On May 22 of 1922, the Hotel Bethlehem, built in the opulent style popular in the roaring twenties, opened its doors. Some of the outstanding and extraordinary design elements were the soaring Palladian windows of the terrace room, marble, terrazzo and mosaic flooring, gilded Corinthian columns and hand wrought ornamental iron work. Many of these dazzling features were thoughtfully preserved. In 2005, the hotel became a member of the prestigious Historic Hotels of America and, thus was renamed The Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Today, the hotel is a highly functioning luxury hotel with the glamour and lavishness of the roaring twenties.
The Moravians started the tradition of hospitality at this site and the hotel strives to continue that same tradition today. The 128 elegantly restored guest rooms and suites feature spectacular views of historic downtown Bethlehem’s Main Street, Moravian College, and the noteworthy Star of Bethlehem. The hotel’s state of the art facility, excellent location, impeccable service, and expert catering team guarantee the success of events, meetings, conferences, seminars, or weddings.
