About HAKS

Welcome to HAKS. In our 25th anniversary year, there is much to celebrate. It is hard to believe that this 600-person, full-service consulting firm began in 1991 as a two-person operation. We could not have reached this milestone without our skilled employees and our long-standing client relationships. We thank our employees for exemplifying HAKS’ commitment to excellence, and we thank our clients for their trust and for allowing us to be of service to them.

In addition to our headquarters at 40 Wall Street in the heart of New York’s financial district, we have 14 offices in the United States and one in Chennai, India. Our multicultural and extremely talented workforce provides our clients with construction management/inspection, engineering design, architecture/facilities design, land surveying, material testing and special inspection services.

HAKS is involved in project work that captures the attention of the industry and earns awards for engineering excellence. In 2015, we made the list of ENR's Top 100 Pure Designers and was ranked 132 on its Top 500 Design Firms (up from 148 in 2013), and was selected by the Zweig Group as one of the Best Firms to Work For.

Our goal is always to improve the communities in which we live and work while at the same time enhancing social, economic and environmental conditions. We accomplish this by partnering with an ever-expanding client base to serve public agencies and authorities as well as private entities. Our award-winning portfolio encompasses transportation infrastructure—highways, tunnels, bridges, transit and commuter rail, aviation, and port and marine facilities; buildings and facilities—housing, schools, healthcare facilities, and parks and recreation; water and wastewater facilities; environmental—remediation and restoration, wetlands and green infrastructure; energy and utilities; security; and asset management.

As proud as we are of our project work, we are equally proud of the work we perform as a
