June - August 2019 • Cromwell, CT

What I liked

What I wish was different

Advice

Internship can be an overwhelming experience as there is a lot to do, but some much one does not know. As an individual its important to tell the senior engineers and the managers when you do not know and when you need help. Nobody knows everything an acting as such is more of a damage on the individual and the company than most think. Asking for help and initially realizing you need some guidance is a strength that will only improve results further down the line in the long-run.

Aerospace Engineering Intern

January - December 2019 • Tallassee, AL

What I liked

I liked most the projects I was given as it gave me a goal to reach for.

What I wish was different

It would have been better had I been given a daily task or been able to get more integrated into the program I was apart of.

Advice

If you go into this job thinking you'll utilize what you've learned in Aerospace engineering classes, you are wrong. The job is more of a process engineering internship.
