Future Sales Leader

June - August 2017 • San Jose, CA

What I liked

The learn by doing style of the internship with excellent guided mentorship opportunities as well as real value added work.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more time to work there.

Advice

This is a very "tossed in the deep end" type of internship where you jump right into real world work. You are expected to take initiative and be creative as well as extremely productive.

Sales Intern (Food and Beverage)

June - August 2018 • Kaukauna, WI

What I liked

This internship is extremely independent. I would plan out my days and my action plan for the week. I interacted with managers across the Dollar General chain in North Central Wisconsin. I received hands on experience with selling in displays, correcting planogram compliance and building relationships with managers that could have difficulties with Frito Lay.

What I wish was different

I was able to do a one on one with our Key Account Manager with Dollar General and it was towards the end of my summer internship. I wish I could have had her contact information earlier and set up a meeting within the first week. She has a wide variety of tools and knowledge that would have been helpful throughout my entire internship.

Advice

ITS AMAZING. I have had other internships in the past and nothing could top this one. The culture of the company is supportive, informative and all around beneficial and truly excelled me in my professional career. Can’t wait to start full time with them in July!

Supply Chain Intern

June 2018 • Kirkwood, NY

What I liked

The job was a mix between working in an office space and on the manufacturing floor. I was able to work with upper management on projects totaling over $300k.

What I wish was different

Nothing. This was a fantastic experience. The company was very prepared to provide interns with an opportunity to work right alongside upper management on high priority and importance projects while also having the freedom to work on individual projects.

Advice

Pepsico is a great company which is employee oriented. They provide interns with the freedom to take initiative allowing for interns to get out of their experience what they put into it.

May - August 2018 • Green Bay, WI

What I liked

I enjoyed the responsibility and freedom I had with my job. I worked alone most of the summer managing two stores inventories. I was responsible for all of the fritolay product in the stores.

What I wish was different

The hours I worked were weird. I started work at 3am and was done by noon. That schedule did not allow me to have much of a social life.

Advice

Defiently take the opportunity it if it is given. The hours are rough but the monetary and personal benefits are worth the time.

Supply Chain Intern

June - August 2018 • Killingly, CT

What I liked

I enjoyed the professional exposure to the entire Frito Lay business. There were a lot of networking and outreach opportunities.

What I wish was different

I wish I had known my exact role before I signed on. I ended up in a department completely unrelated to my major and I wish I would have known that going in.

Advice

Communication and networking is heavily emphasized in this internship.
