I loved the environment here, and how accommodating Michael and the other staff of FTW were. They really made us feel like we were making a difference, and that we were integral not only to the organization but to American Democracy.
What I wish was different
I wish it wasn't all remote, that was really the worst part of it all. Phone banking and voter outreach in and of itself is also terribly difficult, however, that was the nature of the job.
The one piece of advice I would share is to have confidence in what you believe in politically and why you believe in it. There are many other people out there who hold opinions not backed by the facts. If you are well informed, and can back up your claims you have every right to hold an opinion and try to win over other voters.
