You really have to love it and be passionate about children, which I am so it worked well. If I wasn't, it would be harmful to children's development.

I loved the freedom of choosing what the kids and I did each day, being able to be outside all summer, and the family was so welcoming.

What I wish was different

The days got a little long and the kids were annoying sometimes.

Advice

Be creative. The kids love to make and try new things. The summer is what you make of it.
