What I liked

I liked that everyday was different and that it was so easy to get lost n the work and get into it. You were never bored because there was always something to do. I also like that it helped me get used to waking up early in the morning. Another great thing is how great and motivational it is to walk among high standing corporate managers casually. One day as my colleague and I were standing in the Fleet Management lobby Jason Nissan walked by, greeted us with a "Good Morning", and kept moving along with his day. It made me feel as though I can be that guy one day casually walking by like that too.

What I wish was different

I wish we rotated and were more exposed to the many different branches of Enterprise. I was only able to shadow Fleet Management, but it was very interesting still. I also wish the interns that us interns rotated at some point to get a chance to work at both a home-city branch location and the airport.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to network and stay consistent. Go in every day and give it your all. You get back what you give.

What I liked

I liked that the internship was very customer service oriented job, I enjoy helping other people out. I also loved my co workers, it was a fast passed environment which made the long shifts go by extremely fast.

What I wish was different

I did not like pushing the insurance on people who clearly were uninterested in buying it.

Advice

Enterprise offers a great internship experience where you learn a lot about sales. different pitching techniques, customer service, and leadership skills.

What I liked

Got to work with a great team for the summer, I learned a lot and gain some great customer service and problem solving skills, got to meet some great people and they have many events outside of work that you get to network at.

What I wish was different

There were some internal changes that were implemented during the time of work and it changed the whole aspect of the internship, so wish that would have gone a bit differently.

Advice

Just be ready to meet a lot of people and jump into it, the job comes with repetition and it takes time, but once it clicks boy is it a rush. Good luck!

Management Trainee

June - August 2019 • New York City, NY

What I liked

I liked that I personally got to interact with customers every day. Enterprise's main focus was customer service, which I found to be something I liked doing. I also was working with a great group of colleagues so I was very grateful for that. It was also an added bonus that we were able to drive around in all different makes and models of cars while picking up and dropping off customers.

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to experience a different location as opposed to the one I was stationed at. Over the time of the internship I was able to meet with other interns in my region and the experience was different for each intern depending on their location.

Advice

If you're not into customer service, I don't suggest working for Enterprise. You're constantly interacting with customers, and not all customers are the friendliest people. Remember, the customer is always right.

What I liked

The teamwork enviornment and support from co workers, learning real life skills that can be used in every day life.

What I wish was different

The hours were very long so having shorter days would've been better but did get used to it as time went on.

Advice

Be yourself and don't be afraid to ask questions. People are willing to help you at all times so it is better to ask questions before doing something than performing a task incorrectly.
