What I liked

The interview process was very relaxed compared to other interviews I had had recently. The Team was friendly and very clearly interested in continuing to foster the education of an individual right out of College. For my onsite interview I was interviewed by my now manager an MTU Grad and another engineer who shared my major. Once I found the Job posting on ZipRecruter, I applied, In a day I had a phone interview scheduled, the same day as the phone interview I had a onsite interview scheduled for the next work day, and the day after the onsite interview I had an offer. Unlike other interview processed I had fighting with computer systems, Actuant was personal and fast paced

What I wish was different

I wish I had found this place sooner! Although there may not have been the same opportunities a year ago as I had had this August.

Advice

Relax, you will find the right job when the time comes. During the summer I was so stressed about finding the right job, since I had not found a full time job while in school... (career fairs and handshake were not very useful to me, since I wasn't interested in cars or consumer products, it seemed) When you get to an interview, be yourself, some people may not be interested in what you have to offer, that doesn't mean that no one will be interested, When I had the on sight Interview with Hydratight (a division of Actuant) I could tell something was different, after starting the job, I was told that not everyone gets introduced to the rest of the team or given a full plant tour after the interview
