“Moss Street Children’s Center is now hiring students as teacher’ aides. As a teacher’s aide, you will have the chance to work with a dynamic group of infants, toddlers, preschool or school age children depending on your preference and availability. You will be responsible to interact with the children throughout the day. This will include facilitating activities, keeping children safe while playing, helping children problem solve, preparing meals, and cleaning up. Our classrooms are staffed by lead teachers who have extensive experience and training in early childhood education and who love to pass their knowledge on to student staff. Moss Street does give priority to work study applicants. This allows us to keep our costs down to student parents. There are mandatory Tuesday night training from 6 to 7pm. These trainings are designed to increase student staff’s skills and knowledge about child development. The best way to apply is on org sync or in person. Everyone who is hired must complete a criminal history check and be registered on the State of Oregon’s Central Background Registry.”
