Cvs

November 2017 • Honesdale, PA

What I liked

I love seeing people and talking to them, most of them are older and don’t talk to many people so putting a smile on their face makes me happy.

What I wish was different

That there were more hours and more people working

Advice

It’s a great job, they pay you for training and you meet a lot of amazing people. Don’t let one person ruin your mood because you will get rude people that come in.

CVS cashier

May - August 2019 • Bradenton, FL

What I liked

I liked interacting with costumers, and that I received a fair salary!

What I wish was different

I wish I didn't have to work alone. When the season is slow you work at the register alone unless a line forms.

Advice

Any kind of job can be tough but connecting with costumers and coworkers makes it worth while. Even if it's just a starting job know your worth! You should always be treated respectfully and if you're not don't be afraid to speak out! That's the only way things will change. Thankfully I had a good experience working at CVS over the summer and I was treated very kindly there. Although this wasn't my first job it definitely gave me more costumer service experience.
