Crocs Inc.

Retail Associate

May - August 2021 • Boston, MA

What I liked

I liked interacting with the customers and being able to learn a bit about them during our small conversations. Another thing I mainly liked about the job was really being able to help customers pick out a suitable shoe that fits the criteria they have for certain shoes.

What I wish was different

I sadly wished that I didn’t have to end my time there so short since I had to return back to school.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is being open minded when learning about products and how to approach customers.

Sales Associate

July 2019 • Miramar Beach, FL

What I liked

Working at Crocs can be really fun, there is a unique atmosphere and a diverse team. My manager really makes the most out of my skills and strengths, which makes working here a great experience.

What I wish was different

Being in a very high volume store can be extremely stressful at times, but if you have a good team and management it's not so bad.

Advice

I would probably say to someone interested in applying, to be ready to do a variety of things here. We really come together as a team to make sure that every aspect gets done and taken care of. It actually makes for a much more refreshing experience because you're not stuck doing one single thing each day every day.

What I liked

I enjoyed working with the people, the fast pace of business, and the product.

What I wish was different

I wish there was less drama within the work community.

Advice

Focus on your personal work and effort, don't concern yourself with the personal lives of coworkers. When you work with diligence you will be recognized; even though I was always the happiest, I went home knowing I did my absolute best on the sales floor and at my job,

Sales Leader and Manager of the Day

March 2018 • Myrtle Beach, SC

What I liked

I enjoyed staying in Myrtle Beach this summer instead of going back home to New Jersey. I liked how close I worked to Crocs and their flexible hours. I worked with a super great group of individuals who always helped each other out. I also liked how busy it got in the summer. Our location would be packed with people every single day, Crocs is definitely a growing retailer.

What I wish was different

I honestly wish that I had stayed the summer before as well. I loved being rewarded for my hard work but awesome managers and employees. I asked to be promoted to a manager position this summer which was granted. I wish that I had for a rise in the company even earlier.

Advice

Don't hold back. If you think that you deserve to be held accountable for a higher position in a company you are working for, go for it. Speak up and ask to be recognized.

What I liked

I really liked my coworkers and my manager. They made working at Crocs such a fun learning experience.

What I wish was different

The only aspect of the job that I wished was different were the hours. I wanted to work full time hours but they were only offering part time hours.

Advice

One piece of advise that I would share about my experience with crocs would be to always memorize the promotions and deals that the store is offering every season. It makes working there so much easier.

Seasonal associate

June - September 2018 • Milpitas, CA

What I liked

Large team was kind to me. They always had my back whenever we get a difficult customer.

What I wish was different

The Crocs company policy definitely could be better. It made no sense having associates sign in to the register for every customer purchase. The managing could also be more forgiving in terms of giving employees warnings instead of writing people up for every little mistake.
