Hours were very long, but more hours more money!
Receiving my next day schedule the evening before and not being able to plan fun things during the summer
Advice
Concrete will give you chemical burns if you’re not careful.
I met a lot of different people and made some good connections! Be prepared to push your social boundaries, like talking to strangers and asking for directions.

What I liked
Plenty of onsite opportunities to gain knowledge of the trade. Worked with former UB students. Also worked directly with civil engineers.
What I wish was different
The hours could have been more consistent. Some weeks had plenty of work. Other weeks did not

Never sell yourself short. You are capable of far more than you think!
