The City of Madison provides services for everyone who lives in the City. This includes building and maintaining roads and parks; providing police and fire services; water distribution; bus service for students and others; planning for building projects; operating the Monona Terrace Community Convention Center, public libraries, the Senior Center, and community centers; and providing internal services, such as accounting, attorneys, human resources, and computer services for all City agencies.
