What I liked

Loved my colleagues and how hands-on the work was. While the work itself was repetitive, I didn't mind and enjoyed it.

What I wish was different

The facility / equipment could've been taken care of better.

Just work hard and ask questions - people are willing to help, especially if you ask.

What I liked

I liked the independence they gave me to do my job however I wanted to. I was on my own schedule, was able to come and go as I pleased. The people working there were nice.

What I wish was different

Management didn't have very much power over their employees (this arises from a problem with carry-through as well as strongmindedness of the work force). In addition, while I was an intern there, there were many other interns and they didn't have enough time to give me the guidance I needed to do my job well.

Advice

The best piece of advice I could offer for working here would be to be assertive and ask questions, even if you think you're being annoying and even if people are getting annoyed with you. You're there to learn, and you're there for them to benefit from you.

Advice

Make sure to get an internship as soon as possible, because it puts the other classes in perspective. You can see how things you are learning in the classes will be used in the field and it helps to keep motivation.
