Lab Assistant

August 2017 • San Luis Obispo, CA

What I liked

I like getting real experience in a research lab. It’s much different to have to think and come up with your own protocols than being given protocols in class.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have started sooner!

Advice

Go for it—it doesn’t matter if you don’t think you know enough. The point is to learn. You’ll be taught so many techniques and get experience that you cannot get in the classroom.
