Burning Ground Entertainment

intern

January 2023 • Nashville, TN

What I liked

It is a chance to learn more about how to make social media graphics and how to come up with ideas to gain viewers on social platforms.

What I wish was different

The way the company talks to the staff. They are very unkind to interns and do not make you feel good at all for the work you are doing. I would not recommend this company. Rather than helping you learn more about the industry and gain experience, they use you to get work done for them.

PR Intern

May - August 2022 • Nashville, TN

What I liked

Gaining a good understanding of the music industry from a perspective I hadn't learned as much about in school at the time. I received a thorough internship experience that many other companies don't offer. My opinions were valued and I always felt welcome here.

Public Relations Intern

February - April 2020 • Nashville, TN

What I liked

One thing I liked was that you get to know the employees and other interns well. You get an inside look of what it's like to work in a public relations company.

What I wish was different

One thing I wish had been different would be the amount of work they had for their interns to complete. There would be days you would come in and they wouldn't have anything for you to do. You had to create your own work until they give you a task to complete. Sometimes the work can be the same every day and want things to switch up every now and then.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share with a future intern would be to make themselves present. Show them that you are capable of completing different tasks.
