What I liked

I really love the people I was working with the project I was working on.

What I wish was different

I honestly really loved my experience and just wished it had been longer. I am still working on my research project this semester, but it is fewer hours than compared to the summer.

Advice

I would say to be confident in yourself and take every opportunity you can to learn and grow professionally in your position.

I got to run my own research and consult with my professor when I had questions. It was interesting to dive into a new topic and find my way through all the information.

What I liked

I liked the ability to collaborate with other labs and students within my lab even when we were working on other projects.

What I wish was different

I wished that there were more structure or time allocated specifically to creating our research posters.

Advice

I would definitely recommend voicing your interests to your research advisor or professor, so your research is more directed to your liking and overall more enjoyable.

What I liked

I liked the application process, which was easy to follow. I also liked that it is small scale, only two research assistants working on this project. Almost everything has been great, especially because the research that I'm doing is fulfilling
