I absolutely loved it! I got to spend my summer in Italy researching my favorite topic with funding. It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend the fellowship program.
What I wish was different
Maybe some underlining training for the faculty advisors. A lot of us were getting vastly different feedback, and some of our advisors were unintentionally pushing us away from the goals of the program.
Advice
Don't be afraid to apply! I almost didn't, but I'm so glad I did! Also, it's a great way to fund thesis research and study abroad experiences
