Advice
Try to find a way to reward struggling children for being good instead of punishing them for being bad.

What I liked
I get to work with adolescents going into middle school, and help them adjust to new things. We go on many field trips and activities that really help the students engage with each other and their community.
What I wish was different
That we have more programs that all the kids could get excited about.
Advice
You can learn a lot about yourself by working with kids, especially during their teenage years. With the knowledge you learn by watching them you can apply your experience to it and help them with struggles you went through at that time.
