Quality Co-op

What I liked
I liked how the quality department ran and the project management skills I learned. The people there were very nice and this alone led to a lot of growth. My coworkers were easy to reach. When communicating with people outside of "my branch" I got timely and respectful answers.
What I wish was different
Unfortunately, my co-op was online. However, my supervisors and coworkers were still easily accessible when needed.
Advice
Quality is a different aspect of engineering and there is a lot to learn. Quality is not for everyone, but it is good to have new experiences.

The work culture and resources available at Bendix as a co--op are really good. Everyone is ready to help you from day one so it is easy to mix with the team.

I wish I was given more cross-functional projects with other departments of the company

Good work experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
What I wish was different
That the company would've actually shown it cared more about its business. Help let the business interns be more cooperative and helpful.
Advice
It is a great internship to have while you are still in school and taking classes. Usually pretty flexible work schedule. Be prepared however to put up with a lot of unclear tasks.

A bit more engineering and environmental focused, but provided good perspective.
Advice
I would have liked to utilize the offer to spend some of my time in another department getting involved with testing and other engineering.
