I loved everything about this internship! I opened my mind up to a legislative world, and helped me gain political connections in Missouri.
What I wish was different
Due to the location of the internship, I had to drive to Jefferson City twice a week. When inclement weather occurred, the internship was canceled. In this particular session, there were many cancellations that I wish did not occur.
Advice
I would tell people to take risks. I never thought that I would intern at the state capitol during my four years of college, but I applied, was selected, and had a phenomenal experience.
