Great people, great project, very engaging events. Made some great connections as well.
What I wish was different
Some technology issues present, got addressed much later than I would have liked. This was to be expected, given the switch to a virtual environment due to Covid-19.
Advice
Always keep an open mind, and connect with as many people (fellow interns, managers, mentors, etc.) as possible!

What I liked
The interview & placement process is extremely organized. This is a company that truly values diversity & company culture, fully immersing you in it. There have been so many opportunities to learn without fault, and there is a wide variety of opportunity for growth within tech positions.
What I wish was different
While not my personal experience, some managers were less available than others, making it harder for some interns to feel they were on the right track to success.
Advice
If you apply for this internship & get an offer, take it. There is a true feeling of wanting success for us as interns, & I'm leaving with lifelong friends.

What I liked
I loved the care Discover put into the program. A lot a thought was put behind this program to make it the best it could be. I loved that I worked with lots of different teams at the headquarters and was able to learn so much in a short time. It was such a great experience!
What I wish was different
I wished the headquarters was full of employees so that I could get the full experience of a busy workplace. But this was no possible due to Covid restrictions, so it was not Discover's fault.
Advice
I would advise others to connect and meet others. Discover has a huge network of people with very different backgrounds. And as a young professional, talking to these people can help mold your career path.
