Not only was the pay great, but I really enjoyed the time I got to spend one on one with the children I took care of. We had a lot of fun together.
What I wish was different
Honestly, the family I was with and I just did not have the same idea of what my job was, not to mention some of their everyday doings (like smoking) were really hard for me to be around.
Advice
It's more of an investment than just an investment of time. It's an investment in the family itself, and you have to click with them.
