Community Policing Intern
May 2019 - August 2019
Abington Township, PA
“This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in a professional setting. I got to see hands on what the life of a police officer is like, not just in the Community Policing Division. I got to also work in victim advocacy, with K-9 units, detectives, and the internet crimes division. I had the opportunity to go to court, witness the intake process of prisoners, see arraignments, and even provide input on a few cases! I went on at least 10 ride-a-longs with officers, responding to everything from drug incidents to accidents to wellness checks. I truly cannot say enough good things about this experience. ”
