“I loved being able to not just do design work in the office but to also be on-site working on the murals with other interns as well as volunteers. I was able to explore parts of Chicago that I've never been to as well as listen to the voices of the communities that we work in. I love how friendly and caring everyone from Green Star was, it really felt like a close family working together. In terms of design work, I received constructive feedback and was allowed a lot of creative freedom!”
