About Bracco Medical Technologies

We are Bracco Medical Technologies (formerly ACIST Medical Systems).

To health care providers, our name means knowledge. We create medical devices that give healthcare providers the insights they need to confidently and safely diagnose patients. For example, if someone you love develops a heart problem, likely the medical team will want to see inside the heart to determine the right treatment. We help develop devices that tell healthcare providers what they need to know to be successful for your loved one.

You may be involved with the ACIST line of cardiovascular innovations, the Bracco line of diagnostic imaging innovations, or both … you may even be working on our next new advance. We are unified in our common journey to provide insights beyond the image that gives health care providers the power of knowledge.

Our global presence includes our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA, Heerlen, The Netherlands, and Tokyo, Japan.

What does it mean to be backed by the power of Bracco?
We honor the dynamic of a small company culture. You are seen. Your efforts are valued and rewarded. Yet you are also part of a $2 billion global entity with ample resources and opportunity for movement within the organization. Led by our president Diana Bracco and Bracco Imaging CEO Fulvio Bracco, we are privately—not publically— held. That means we are able to take the long-term view, spending the time and resources needed to pursue the innovations that will most benefit patients and their healthcare providers.

Established in 1927, the Bracco Group is today a healthcare multinational operating in 100 countries worldwide with headquarters in Milan, Italy.

Service Engineering Intern

May 2018 - August 2018 Eden Prairie, MN
“I liked that my employe genuinely cared about and respected me as both an employee and a student - My internship involved a lot of technical writing (which involved working interdepartmentally with research & development and customer service and service engineering), which was a good experience, but my manager made it even better by actively working to get me out from behind my desk and shadowing engineers, building devices, and observing device repairs, which greatly enhanced my experience. ”
