For more than 130 years, the DIA has been one of the premier art museums in the United States, and is home to more than 65,000 works that comprise a multicultural survey of human creativity from ancient times through the 21st century. As an institution of scholarship and learning, it continues to acquire new works, mount exhibitions and present programming that both delights and inspires audiences.
